Lucban is dubbed as the Art Capital of Quezon province. Lucban is a town in Quezon known for their “longganisa” for its strong flavor and sumptuous taste and of course, the well-known colorful festival, Pahiyas Festival, in honor of San Isidro Labrador. Lucban have a many places to go.

“The most beautiful in the world is, of course, the world itself.”

“Take only memories, leave only footprints.”

This is the Municipality Hall of Lucban, Quezon where they can find many attractions in town

A Jollibee in Lucban, Quezon styled their branch European-style. Yes, it’s the same old Jollibee  and this one is unique and I love this. I think you will love this too.

“Live life with no excuses, travel with no regret”

One of the first thing to do in Lucban is to visit the Kamay ni Hesus.
At the heart of Lucban, Quezon resides a peaceful and sacred garden called Kamay ni Hesus.
This experience will make you feel the heaven on earth with its cool, bright and solemn atmosphere.

Don’t forget to eat enough food before go around the garden of Kamay ni Hesus especially if you are planning to climb up its almost 300-step divine shrine. This Pancit Habhab is one of the specialty of Lucban,Quezon one of the best Pancit I’ve ever tasted.

The San Luis Obispo de Tolosa Parish Church, commonly known as the Lucban Church, is a Roman Catholic parish church located in Lucban, Quezon, the Philippines under the Roman Catholic Diocese of Lucena. Its titular is Saint Louis of Toulouse.

“We travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us.”

We visited Villa Elma that boasts a great view of Mt. Banahaw.
There are numerous artworks and sculptures present in the nature park, either religiously crafted or just a great work of art. This is very unforgettable place so I suggest go there and visit Villa Elma
Trust me, you wil love this place.

“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”

“In the end, kids won’t remember that fancy toy you bought them, they will remember the time you spent with them” (Kevin Heath)

Travel creates those precious memories together that will last a lifetime, much more than the pile of plastic toys in their bedroom.

And at the end of the day, your feet should be dirty, your hair messy and your eyes sparkling .

Crazy Rich Asian : Movie Review

The only thing crazier than love is Family

Watching Crazy Rich Asians, the film adaptation of Kevin Kwan’s bestselling novel is about a Chinese-American economics professor in New York named Rachel Chu, fluent in both Putonghua and English, whose younger Singaporean boyfriend, Rachel Chu is happy to accompany her long time boyfriend, Nick, to his best friend’s wedding in Singapore. She’s also surprised to learn that Nick’s family is extremely wealthy and he’s considered one of the country’s most eligible bachelors. Thrust into the spotlight, Rachel must now contend with jealous socialites, quirky relatives and something far, far worse Nick’s disapproving mother but in the end nick’s mother approved their relationship and their wedding because she realize that Rachel Chu is deserving to be her daughter in law.

Crazy Rich Asians isn’t big and wants to overturn just one cliche: that rich people are bad. But, with a mostly all-Asian cast, it’s a corrective to the Hollywood racism that decrees Asian characters can only be shown temporary, if at all, and then mostly in mean roles. they showed what is the mostly wealthy  peoples mindset’s, that they only accept who does belong to their kind,it was emphasized by nick’s mother with the lines “we only accept our kind”. but in the end i loved it more when i saw that her mother eventually supports them because of the good attitudes Rachel showed to her. it’s still just a simple love story made complicated by family. Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable, even if most of us are not married to or dating secret millionaires. And though the film may feel overstuffed, it all works in service of its story.  Unlike so many recent romantic comedy heroines, Rachel doesn’t long for something better or have her life in shambles. In fact, she’s a rather well put-together career woman, happily in love and excited (if nervous) to meet Nick’s family. Wu plays her as a quick-witted person, with a light and optimistic outlook that love will conquer all.

“Doing nothing can sometimes be the most effective form of action. If you do nothing, you’ll be sending a clear message: that you’re stronger than they think you are. Not to mention a lot classier. Think about it.”
― Kevin Kwan,
Crazy Rich Asians

She would never give up trying. He would take an impossible situation and make everything possible.
